spec advice?

Hi all,

I have been doing a bit of research about my new build and i have decided not to wait for the 45nm processors (I am bit discouraged by the multiplier on the quad cores). So I am going to base my new system on the q6600 and would like to overclock the bad boy to its limits so a good mobo will be needed for good clocks and a good heatsink to keep the beast cool. Before I forget the budget is about 600 notes but I already have a corsair 520w and a antec 900 also no need for a new monitor or keyboard and mouse and I may think about upgrading to vista but I not totally sure.

Not sure about the motherboard i have heard that it has its faults when discussed the p5k thread is there another board that anyone could recommend?
