Hi all again ,

posted few months ago asking for a spec for roughly £600

however luckily I held back and have managed to aquire a

Crosshair V Formula Z motherboard and an AMD FX8350 from a friend for a brilliant price, and i mean a really good price lol.

however after Christmas and holidays I plan on getting pc fully built.

I plan on playing DayZ and some video rendering. but ive been out of the loop for years.

so I need the cheapest possible of these as Im going on a holiday of lifetime so money will be tight after it.

Need a

PSU
Memory (8GB would do )
Graphics card
SSD (60GB-128GB)

Thank you

Good PSU that is gold rated. 1866 memory (max for the 8350 i believe). A Powercolor R9 290 with a good amount of video memory and still performs great and a Samsung Evo 840 SSD which is cheap but reliable. I assume you will be overclocking the CPU with that motherboard? :D

EDIT: You could also go with these parts which has a slightly less powerful GPU (still very good mind) saving about £80.

The parts i chose for you are not the cheapest, however they are still VERY good value and not a great deal more expensive than the cheapest option.

some good stuff there , Thanks

um in regards to the overclocking haha I haven't overclocked anything for about years. I wouldn't even know where to begin. The last CPU I even attempted overclocking was an Intel E2180 and an Intel Q6600 when they first were released. Now i'd be sitting there for hours scratching my napper.

Little update

I think ive been doing quite well for myself this week gathering components.

got my CPU and Mobo for a total of £50
and got a corsair CX750M and an ATI 7990 for a total of £155

so really its just RAM and an SSD to look for now

Have an issue with my case however though, I knew the 7990 wouldn't fit , but for the price I couldn't refuse. going to have to start cutting chunks out of the case :)

yea gonna get that RAM

the SSD I'm just going to get a 120 GB one save myself some cash as it turns out Im in need of a new monitor as well!

trying to decide whether to get an IPS monitor or not
