Afternoon all,

Whilst right in the here and now my computer is perfectly fine with gaming I am toying with the idea of a new build in the next 12 months. This time I want to incorporate a spec which will handle streaming and video editing comfortably.

Preferably I don't want this thing above 3k but what is a comfortable budget to have a 4k gaming build with these capabilities and what sort of products should I consider?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry man, but, it's really impossible for people to give advice on a build with such a long time frame. Next year, there are new graphics cards been released and completely new CPU line from Intel, and AMD have Zen coming. Nobody knows what they are going to be like.

If you are considering purchasing in the next month or two then people can give you better advice.

with the current GPU market you are only looking at 1080 SLI for obtainable 4k gaming. Pair with some form of x99 i7 and your choice of ram and storage.

^ that should hold true for a little while. We are due that new TITAN at some point tho, which is faster than a 1080... But costs as much as 2. And I havnt seen any suggestion that it beats 1080SLI.
