This will be my first ever build and me and my bro have been saving up (wel my bro 22 and he has got a full time job) he is paying 80% of this computer i am just paying for the accesories like keyboard mice, monitor E.T.C, This PC will do a lot of GAMING and HD video EDITING, montages, gameplay commantaries, and also a lot of PC GAMING i will have 2.5k to spend (well my bro has 2.3k to spend
) im only 17 and work in B&Q
anyways here are the specs
CPU - Intel core i7 930 - £229.32
CPU cooler - Noctua NH D14 - £66.99
MX 3 therman compound - £6.99
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-X58a-UD7 - £271.19 - reason i chose this board because i want my pc to be future proof for years to come and some overclocking
RAM - 6GB of Corsair Dominator ddr3 pc3-12800(1600), CAS 7-8-7-20, XMP,DHX,new connector 1.65v- £171.69 - might also upgrade to 12GB in near future if i got the money
Case - Coolmaster haf 932 - £103.40
Windows 7 64 home - £99.96
1 Asus 5870 - £323.94 - i WILL upgrade to crossfire after couple of months
2 SSD OCZ 60gb vertex 2e - in raid 0 will be boot drive and for my programms and games (the ones that i will be playing often)
2 Western Digital Caviar black 640GB SATA 6Gb/s 64 mb cache - £109.98 probs also in raid 0 or 1 i have not decided, if you have GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE COMMENT.
Logitech g15 keyboard - £59.80
Logitech G9z gaming mouse - £59.90
Samsung BLU RAY Drive (SH-B083L/RSBP 8x Bluray rom/16 x DVDRW drive ) - £53.99
6 Enermax Apollish 120mm LED FANS - 3 of them will be white, and the other 3 will be green - £80 - 2 of each color at the side, white, or silvery color on top green on bottom they will be all intake and two fans at the top of case for outake.
and a ASUS 25.5 VW266H black widescreen LCD 1920x1200, 20000:1 (ASCR), 300cd/m2, 2 ms,
ALL Of the parts and future parts will be powered by a Antec Truepower Quattro 1200W

i have also ordered other things but they do not appply, such as cable tidy kits, PC cleaning kits, E.T.C all of this cost around £2499
