Hi all,

Ive built computers in the past but since my last upgrade I haven't kept up with the tech side of things and am complementary confused by the whole i3, i5 and i7 processors so I'm hoping you can throw a few specs at me!

I currently have an OK Monitor, Case, Hard Drive, PSU (500w), Speakers, Keyboard, DVD-RW and Mouse etc, so I'm basically after a new Motherboard, Processor, RAM and GPU, Ill be selling my Laptop to fund some of the build.

The main use will be gaming, I've been away from the gaming side of things for a long time and have decided to stop putting myself out, and do something that will make me happy! all work and no play has made this big kid rather unhappy!

I like to play everything full whack I enjoy pretty environments just as much as a challenging game!

Initial budget is £350 but i could possibly go £50 either way as long as its worth it, I'm also not bothered is It's B-Grade stuff (whatever that means, if someone could enlighten me? I assume returns or damaged packing etc)

Quiet is good! I don't mind overclocking if the gains make it worth it.

Thanks!

You would have to spend another £90 if you want the quad core 3570k or you coud get a lower spec quad core.
