Spec budget PC £300

Hi all,

My parent's PC seems to be on the way out, so need to build them something. PC won't be used for anything much; web browsing, Office, etc.

I've put the following together:
(Maybe best to go AM3 as I have a 955 myself, so I could always give them that if/when I upgrade in the future!).

Keyboard, mouse, monitor etc not required.

Suggestions / improvements welcome. Thanks.

That's ddr2 you have there and the motherboard is ddr3.

That motherboard has an onboard ATI 4200 gpu.

Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3, 800mhz ram and Coolermaster 335 case will give u money to get Gainward 9800GT.

And it's also better board overall, great overclocker.

2 gig of ram instead of 4 will do as well

1066Mhz ram seems overkill (aside from the ddr2/ddr3 thing above, as well!) plus you could save money on the motherboard.

I agree with synixx, the OC value systems look like really good cheap boxes for just this kind of thing, and you know it'll all work.
