Please take a look at this and let me know if I'm good to go. Thanks very much in advance. This is my first rig that I will have built by myself.

Corsair HX520 W PSU - £68.14
Antec P182 - £88.11
BFG Geforce 8800 GT OC 512MB - 193.86
Q6600 Energy efficient - £168.01
Abit IP35 - £82.24
Geil 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz ULL x2 - £70.48
WD Caviar 500GB - £65.79
Samsung SH-S202JBEBN DVD RW - £16.44
Windows XP Home edition - £56.39

Total including shipping + vat = £824.67

I know I've got 4GB of RAM and windows XP but I'll still be able to use 3.5GB if I have a 512MB gfx card so I'm happy with that. Please let me know if this is OK as it is and then if you have any recommendations I'd like to hear those too!

Many thanks!!

All looks good to me, I might consider getting an aftermarket cooler if you are thinking about overclocking but aside from that it is fine. Any reason why you don't want Vista?

Initially I'm not thinking of overclocking, the main use of this PC will be 3D programmes, 3DS MAX, photoshop, etc etc, I realise it's better to have a a pro GFX card but I can't afford to spend that much money on one so the card I've spec'd I think wil handle it fine.

Vista, I think I'm just being skeptical, I know XP, I know XP works, I'm happy with it. Vista, I know lots of people say it's fine I've also seen a lot of people complain and moan about it. I thought I'd wait until SP1 come up to upgrade to it.
