So just need motherboard really. What do you think ?

Should I just get any P45 motherboard or just stick with a P35 one ? What would be the best 100% stable motherboard ?

Thanks.

The case is knocking on a bit isn't it? Although it is still decent enough and I've not got a clue about the PSU but it should be fine I guess. I would however change the graphics card for a 512mb model.

In fact if I was buying from OcUK I'd probably go with something like this. The motherboard is pretty basic but does everything that you'd normally require - no Raid, no Firewire etc.

Thanks, acutually won't be buying from Overclockers.... :p

gfx : whoops didn't notice it was 256 Mb version I choose. Guess any 512 MB be ok ?

motherboard : rather get a 'decent' one. As it always seems to be the motherboard that goes faulty with me.

CPU : Assume that's fine ? No point maying the extra £50 or whatever it is for the better one ?

Case : Comes with a 'free' PSU :p but yeah suppose so !

Thanks again.

Any 512mb 8800GT should be fine, they are all built to a reference design.

Basic means less to go wrong as far as I'm concerned but the next step up is probably a P35 based motherboard, something like a Gigabyte P35 DS3R (don't bother with the combo DDR2+DDR3 one) or Asus P5K would do your requirements.

The CPU is fine, there isn't all that much point in spending more when you can overclock that one anyway and it is a good solid CPU.
