My builds have always been around £500 (tower+OS) and it got by with the games that were current at its time.

Now you'll need to say what you'll be using the PC for so that we can spec up some parts.

The offers change wednesday but I would ideally aim for this for £600ish. As I have already said (over and over) paying for the OS on a £500 budget compromises the spec some what

Yeh, checked system monitor. Seems I was running to many things and my Gpu was "thrashing". All right now. Thanks for asking.

Tiny bit over... could always go for the 1GB version of the Graphics Card which would put it almost spot on.
