Cool I'll drop the Paste, prob not looking to crossfire tbh.

thanks for the advice.

Theres no harm in dropping down to the Z77-D3H motherboard then.

Its one of those type of boards that does Crossfire at 16X/4X, so for a single GFX card its fine.

More money could be saved by using a Coolermaster 612S heatsink, its still a good cooler.

The windowed Shinobi has an extra fan as well as the side window. Could tweak it a little bit.

Xfire capable, wifi and bluetooth built into the mobo, larger IPS panel too. Dropping to the Z77-D3H will save you cash obviously (500W PSU is all you would need) although some people do have issues with the D3H and certain GPUs. I've never had problems using the mobo (updated the BIOS) but I thought I'd mention it all the same.

Look forward to seeing what you settle on once you have the cash......always wise to think things through first :)

Hey,

I would recommend another thermal paste such as,

YOUR BASKET
1 x Prolimatech PK-1 Nano Thermal Compound (5g) £7.99
1 x Alpenföhn "Snow Cannon" Thermalpaste (1.5g) £7.99
1 x Thermalright Chill Factor 3 Tube (4g) Thermal Paste £4.99
Total : £23.26 (includes shipping : £1.90).

The K2 cooler does come with paste though, so you dont really need extra.

Finally if you wanted Crossfire later a 750W+ PSU is recommended.

You should get thermal paste with that cooler!

+1 for Stulids build.

If you were to go X-fire I would reccomend getting cards which blow the air out of the back of the case like reference cards. Such as the HIS Q :)
