Think im going to have to get it now or ill never do it tbh so a quick spec check pls.

1 x OcUK D5 Vario Pump & EK D5 X-Top V2 Value Combo £81.98
1 x EK Supreme HF CPU Waterblock - Nickel Acetal **2011 Compatible** £55.99
1 x XSPC EX240 120mm Radiator - Black £39.98
1 x EK Multioption Reservoir X2 250 Advanced £38.99
1 x Mayhems Ultra Pure H20 Watercooling Fluid 1L £4.68
2 x XSPC 7/16" ID [16/11mm] High Flex Hose - Clear £5.98
8 x EK PSC Compression Fitting 7/16 [16/11mm] - G1/4 - Nickel £23.92

Ill be using my current fans so i should be ok for them for now.

The 120.2 rad is only a guide as ocuk dont stock a 280 but is same price so using for price quote

My plan is to add a triple rad in later on when I get some new gfx card(s).

Is getting the D5 pump now a good idea or shall i cheap out on a smaller pump and worry about the D5 when i get 2nd Rad?

Will be cooling i5 760 for now with only push fans on the rad may add pull if space permits.

Hopefully going to order soon.

Hi
I'm by no means a watercooling expert, I'm just looking at getting the kit myself now
But what rad are you looking at getting? That price seems v cheap, I'm paying almost double for my 280

Went with a MagiCool SLIM DUAL 280 MC Radiator DUAL 140MM and came to £49 with next day delivery.

From what ive read about its not a bad rad and competes quite well and as im limited for space for its position it should be fine for a cpu only loop.

I went for that spec as I cant see any compatibly issues and is similar to what a few people use.

Starting my build this weekend if i can stay of BF3 long enough.

Get a pack of masterkleer tubing instead and an OcUK vlaue bridging connector and you're good to go.

ooh - don't forget the mug :p

I went with the XSPC tubing and i got the bridge but no mug maybe next time.
Stuck with the pump as cheaping out on what I see as the main part of a watercooling setup might not be a good choice

Check my project log for what I went with in the end.

any reason why you would recommend the masterkleer over the XSPC

I have the XSPC and it's not actually that clear. The masters leer is better quality aesthetically and it takes more to kink it :)

O right well atm thats not a problem as it will be in a closed case and non coloured fluid until I can source a windowed panel, I'm not confident enough to destroy / mod anything that I just paid a hefty amount for.

If this tubing gives me grief I might have to invest in some of the masterkleer.

Thanks

no problem. The XSPC is decent, expecially if aesthetics dont matter
