Totally OT but is just me or is this spec thread a lot longer than any other have been recently lol. I talk too much :o
 
Stock volts, 420FSBx7. all the gubbins turned off. My RAM runs fine at those settings but with 2.1V yours may or may not need to be tweaked.

Right, well no doubt I'll harrass you as and when if I encounter problems :P

What 'gubbins'?

Should I start at lower settings and work my way up to 420x7 or just jump in?

Will the Scythe fit in the case for sure?

always start at lower settings at work your way up to the highest you cpu can work stable
 
wel the best way to test stability is using a stress test program i think orthos is the one to use for dual core cpus and and u run this program for e.g 24 hours to see if any errors and/ or crashes occur
 
usually when the computer is stable but sometimes doesnt boot u need to drop it down a bit just as i did wiv my 3200+ i had it a 2.6ghz for a while but now and aagin it just froze on boot up so i dropped it to 2.5ghz

So I'd need a monitor... the choice is a cheap Belinea/the 2007 or the 2407...

So.. I figure why not 24"??!?
