ok, instead of getting a graphics card as it wont be used for much gaming i have used a Gigabyte board with integrated graphics, so how does this system sound

Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H GeForce 7100 Micro-ATX (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Duo E2140 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.60GHz (800FSB) - Retail

Antec EarthWatts 380W PSU

LG GDR-H30NBL 16x DVD-ROM (Black) - OEM

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-5300C4 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB5300DC)

Hitachi Deskstar 7K160 160GB SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (0Y30006)

On the motherboard spec it says (Supports Intel Core 2 multi-core processors with FSB1333) So the processor i have stated will fit in this board fine?
and will the PSU be powerful enough?

Thanks

Lalumi

Yeah, I think all will be fine, looks good. The PSU should be ok as it is now, but if you add a graphics card later you may need to get a new PSU too. Will you be overclocking? If so you'll want a better cooler, the stock one is naf in comparison to others you can get.

Looks fine to me. The Corsair Value PC2-5300 is a hair cheaper and will perform identically. You should get a DVD/CD burner since it adds a lot of functionality for very little money. The Samsung SH-S203D on sale this week is a cracking deal for only £5.87 more.
