Hello there! I've been deciding which rig to buy for a long time now. I will be buying it from a local supplier. This is what I have in mind right now:
CPU: I5 2500k
Mobo: Asrock Z68 Extreme4 (or wait a few weeks for the GEN3, worth it?)
CPU Cooler: Thermalright HR-02
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X CL9 1600 (4x2=8GB)
GPU: Sapphire 6950 TOXIC (or MSI 6950 Twin Frozr III)
Case: Fractal Design Define R3
PSU: Corsair AX750
SSD: Crucial M4 128gb
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
DVD Writer: Asus
That's it, what do you think? I'm also getting a new screen (probably Dell U2412M) a mechanical keyboard (Thermaltake Meka G1) and a set of philips 2.1 speakers.
The complete cost would be ~1300 GBP
