Basically within the next month or so i will be looking into doing my first build.

The PC's main uses will be high end gaming and apps such as 3ds max/photoshop . Basically i want the best bang for buck, im not interested in overclocking (i wouldn't know where to begin) and i would like it to be future proof for future upgrades. max budget would be somewhere around £900-£1000 at a stretch if the added cost is worth it.

Ive looked into the following spec, just want to know if all of the components are compatible or whether there are any changes that could improve it and why? I'm not the most knowledgeable in these things, so any help is appreciated, cheers.

I probably wouldn't bother with the Audigy SE as onboard sound is pretty good these days. Other than that it looks fine although I might change the hard drive for a Western Digital AAKS 320gb as it is faster. :)
