I'm building a computer for a friend and I just want to make sure that it's alright. She'll be using it for office/internet/music playing/little bit of photo editing. Here it is:

Logitech Cordless Optical Desktop Rechargeable Black/Silver - OEM (KB-058-LG) £29.95 £29.95
SpeedLink Ambience SL-8222 2.1 Speaker System Black (SP-025-SL) £21.95 £21.95
OcUK Value Floppy Drive - Black (HD-001-OK) £5.95 £5.95
Subtotal £582.45
Postage £14.95
VAT £104.55

I particularly would like to know about the speakers, the keyboard/mouse combo, the monitor, and the case.

Thanks very much for your help!

you will also need a cpu cooler as the CPU is an OEM one.

Not to sure about the PSU with the case - it's a bit low powered - would not like to consider anything less than 400W really if you can.

Also i would look at the Samsung 913N monitor as an alternative to your choosen one.

Thanks for the quick replies! I'll go for the arctic cooling freezer 64 CPU cooler, and I'll go for the 913n monitor.

However, the cheapest case on here without a PSU (i think) is £30 (the Antec SLK3000B), plus about £30 for the PSU=£60, which would get me quite a bit out of budget, so I think I'll stay with the PSU that comes with the case. I won't be overclocking, there is only 1 HD and 1 DVD/RW, no sound or graphics cards, so power consumption should be pretty low. If something goes wrong, I can always RMA it.

The 3500+ is £120, whereas the 3200+ is £90 (in This Week Only), so will my friend notice this difference in performance, or should I just save the money?

So how's about the mouse/keyboard combo and the speakers I have chosen?

Logitech Cordless Optical Desktop Rechargeable Black/Silver - OEM (KB-058-LG) £29.95 £29.95
SpeedLink Ambience SL-8222 2.1 Speaker System Black (SP-025-SL) £21.95 £21.95
