If you are going for maximum performace tho you might want to add a raptor HDD in there for the OS!!

Edit, whats he using it for? if its not gaming then you might consider a quad core??
 
maybe not go delux on the mobo, unless you really want those features

and get the samsung 640gig drive, it's faster AFAIK to do with the platters/density
 
go for the Antec 300 gaming case instead, and either the cooler which is said above ^ or the Arctic pro 7.

Also, change that processor to an E8400, and clock it to 3.60ghz (very easy on air, about 1.2v).
 
i agree with the pedster, get 640 gig drives, and that ram isnt needed if your not overclocking get some geil black dragon perhaps? you should get an arctic freezer pro 7 if your not overclocking, much cheaper. include some thermal paste in your build?

another vote for the antec 300 too, but for the standard of the rest of the components you could get something a bit more classy, maybe a lian li?
 
Another vote for Samsung 640gb drive - they're almost as fast as raptors but with bigger capacity and at a fraction of the cost.

I'd also go for a modular PSU to keep the cables neat.
