Evening all. The time has come to replace my ancient desktop and I'd appreciate it if you could take the time to look over the basket below and let me know if there's any problems with the build. This will be my first build from scratch so I'd like to make it as painless as possible.

Many thanks,

Dai

Went for that psu for reliability and a bit of future proofing. Have read good things about the Samsung ram so fancied giving it a try.

May swap out the K2 for a silver arrow sb e extreme. Seems better for the same sort of price.

you will then also have more moneys left over which could be pumped into getting the z77x-d3h which would allow for a solid crossfire in future if it was needed.

Also whats computer going to be used for? just gaming?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into them further this evening.

It'll be used for gaming, photoshop, general office stuff (mrs Dai is a teacher so lots of this) and browsing.
