Hi guys,

Just looking for a last minute check before I buy the below:

5853756403_b707c19e76_b.jpg

It will go with:
Thermalright Archon CPU Cooler
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache
5770 Crossfire
DVD rewriter drive

I think I will end up with a pretty good system as Im looking for quite an upgrade on my current spec.
CPU should make all the difference.

Is there anything you would change on what Im buying for any obvious reason - Budget is pretty maxed at current cost?

Cheers,
ash

that looks fantastic. its exactly what i would spec.

*edit*

the OP might do other stuff as well as gaming that needs the extra ram. if the OP's only processor intensive thing is gaming then dropping to 4GB of ram is the smart thing to do.

just curious, whats that case like. ive seen you recommend it in a couple of places now but i dont remember seeing it before

Its better quality than a Cm690MKII, its also less boring, everyone is getting spec'ed the same old stuff, Its like a bunch of IBM clones around here, the "show of your case" thread is full of the same stuff.

Drop to 4GB of RAM, then swap to this case to show off the gear,

I agree with what your saying but the 8 Gig is more important to me.
Im coming from a Chieftec dragon (finally get rid of 80mm fans!) windowed case with UV lights and everything and just fancy something more plane.

If I could afford a Lian Li I would but I cant :(

The CM-690 does seem to be the best for the price to me.

Thanks for the input though.

thanks for the advice guys.

Did go for the outlined spec in the first post - sorry stulid, just like the cleaner looks of the 690
