get a different motherboard if you want to overclock

i just tried to do one on that board its useless and was advised to go for asus board 990 chipset is better too

different board, as said 990FX chipset
I'd go for cheaper case - something like Carbide 300R (well, it's not much cheaper on OCUK)
I'd throw out the DVD drive - is it really needed? install OS from USB and then...?
buy CPU Cooler

where is the HDD?

Sorry but that isnt great..

This is (for the money). Managed to get a 8320 and 7950 in. :)

And a HDD (all important)

6300 and a 770. :)

sorry forgot to mention, he already has the HDD

and i have had a word with him, he is fixed on having that case

I know that you cannot see art and beauty from my perspective, but there is no need to laugh at the case; the case is sophisticated and elegant with a simplistic design.

S/he isn't laughing at the case.

The PSU is garbage and the GPU will be held back by the rest of the parts.

I can't find out for sure whether the cooler will fit but i asusme so (it looks like it will)..

SSD too. :) Or you could drop the SSD and get the 8320 but i don't think thatll make much of a difference.

Yes it's over budget slightly and I've changed the case to a military themed one as you cop BF4 free still. Mobo is B grade so you might need some sata cables but I thought I'd take a stab at an intel build for you.

All the best with it bud, we look forward to seeing what you settle on in the end :)

Take this, swap the case, remove the HDD, add the heatsink.

Done.
