Yo ! Specin up a PC for me mate, its a big investment for him and he wants to be double sure, iv specced this for him:

Is he doing the right thing ? Are those components good ? What would you change ? Budget is 585 MAX

(hes going from a athlon xp 2.17ghz, 9800 pro to that!)

Very good buys, only thing I'd say is consider spending the extra £10 to get the corsair 520W, awesome PSU.

FSP is an equally good PSU. No need to spend £10 more.

Corsair is the new hotness (just rebadged Seasonic in a shiny case, but still very good).

Sparkle is a solid, reliable no nonsense PSU. Would trust it with your life ;-)

As said i'd be tempted to spend the tenner extra on a corsair 520w but the sparkle is very good so just a matter of taste

Excellent spec overall mate he'll be very happy with that.
