Hi there
I have been asked to build a system to run photoshop CS3. There will be no gaming on this pc. This is the system iv put together and would love some feedback if anyone thinks I need to change anything.
It will be running win xp-pro and will not be overclocked.
My main concern is, is 800 ram ok with this cpu or should I go for 1066. and is the graphics card and psu ok
Thanks

Asus P5K Intel P35

Intel Core 2 Duo E8200

Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5

Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB

Asus ATI Radeon EAH2400 Pro

Antec NSK 4480B Mini Tower Case (Black) - 380W

Spec looks good to me other than would a quad help more? (I'm not to sure myself..)

As to the RAM, If you ran the RAM at a 1:1 divider the RAM would only be running at 666mhz and not 800 any way.

You could overclock the FSB from 333 to 400 and the only thing that would be overclocked is the CPU & Mobo, the RAM would be at stock.

Someone else will pop along to say if quad is better or not.

Thanks for your reply.
The Q6600 is £30 more than the E8200 and at stock its slower at 2.4 instead of 2.66.
I wonder if anyone can tell if its worth the extra £30.
cheers
