Following on from the advice here I have come up with this

Newbuild.jpg

for my new computer.

What do people think? My main concern is will the CPU cooler fit inside the case? I am also thinking the PSU is a bit overpowered for the gear, I am intending to do a little overclocking with it. Also, have I missed anything? You will also notice there is no keyboard listed, this is intentional as the current one I have is fine.

perfect.

keyboard needed?

and I have no idea if that akasa cooler comes with thermal paste.

If you are intending to get another HD5850 1GB this PSU is also worth considering:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-117-AN

It is made by Seasonic and according to Bit tech has high efficiency (the PSU is 80plus Bronze certified). It also has 4 PCI-E power connectors too.

Also the Titan Fenrir is meant to be good too:

However the Akasa Nero also has good reviews so it is probably more down to whatever your prefer.

Thanks for that. I did consider the Titan, but it is out of stock so I went for the Alaska.
