Could people let me know if they think the below components are OK or if i would be better off changing a few things (i already have good power supplies, large HDD's, DVD Roms and a 4850 GPU + monitors).

PC Use = I DO NOT game (although having the possibility is always good)
I use my PC more for web development, there are no programs i use that push a pc, but i like to have many programs open at the same time, and this soon mounts up to push my current Athlon x 2 to snail pace and the occasional lock up... :-( ......

Main programs used = Dreamweaver, Text Editors/Code Editors, Photoshop, SQL connection tools, all 3 major browsers (usually with YouTube playing in the background too) MS office/emails/word/access/excel, skype, etc. And i generally i like to have all these running at the same time + numerous browser windows open (typically around 10 windows open).
I sometime have iPlayer running too..... (i use 3 monitors)

I have chosen socket 2011 as i can upgrade in future to more cores if needed......
I also never turn off my PC, so hope i could run a small overclock literally 24/7 (4.6ghz sounds good or even up to 5ghz :-) ).

I probably wont buy al these parts at the same time..... as money dictates.....

I say you could base the main parts around that (add the GFX, case etc)

• The motherboard still has eight dimm slots
• The cooler is a fantastic top end air cooler.
• Bigger SSD as 60GB doesn't go far these days.

Stulid on the money again

Graphics card wise the 7750 & 7770 are poor value, as the 7850 is twice as good for only 50% more.

Case is a decent choice though one with better cooling would be worth it. My favourite is the corsair 300r.

i ilke the 7750 as it is passive heatsync, could i get something better but still passive?

i also chose the H100i for cooling as this was said to be quiet too.
would the one that Stulid suggest be louder? or is it just much better for cooling?

Thanks All

The way things are going atm the K2 would be a lot better than the H100i.
Reason:
The Corsair forums are filling up with people having problems with the H80i/H100i coolers, for which there are no solid fixes as yet. Fan noise is one of the main faults, and I don't see any true fixes coming anytime soon. Also software/firmware problems and a lot of units dying. You'd be extremely lucky to get a good one.
