Check Speck Please!

Hello,

A friend of mine is looking at buying a PC on a tight budget (£300), he’ not going to game but may do in the future (hence the 500w PSU), the PC will be used for Music/Video editing and general PC usage (internet etc.). I’ve put an initial spec below, anyone have any suggestions to make it better given the price and usage? (he already has a DVD drive and software)

The components list looks fine IMHO.

The X2 550BE would be a better bet for games which only use two cores but applications which use more than two cores such as video editing the X4 620 is the best choice in its price range.
