Looking for put together a Photoshop CS5 (high res images and lots and lots of layers D

and Video Editing rig for under 700£

All ready have a 8800GTS 512mb

So far have come up with this

. Intel or AMD dont bother me, can anyone do better for under 700£?

Are you overclocking?

If you are you will need a good cooler.

If not then I would go for an athlon quad over the phenom.

Also do you really need SATA6 and USB3? The WD caviar black is nowhere near needing SATA6 (almost nothing does). You could save about £40 by going for a different mobo. Maybe the M4A785TD-V evo or similar?

Might be nice to include a SSD boot disk for super fast program loading and boot ups. I like my OCZ vertex 30GB but you might be able to afford something bigger if you have money left over.

Wow thats a cool build cat. Cant believe the x6s are so cheap. Reckon it would be a crime not to overclock that though.

I know that the Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 is a good overclocking motherboard put I suppose it maybe better to get a motherboard with cooled VRMs for some serious six core overclocking. Also an air cooler like the Titan Fenrir would also be needed too.

had a fiddle with the spec, what about this? 6 core, 4gb of ram and H50 cooler for under 575£

What speeds you rekon i could get out of the chip with a H50?

If I was going to overclock would this be a good board for the x6?

Also what graphics card would you recommend for my use of PS CS5 and Video Editing if I was to say have another 100-150£ making it 700£???
