Geil value ram is good stuff.

Athlon 64 3700+ is probably best bang for buck CPU at present.

MSI RD480 Neo2 Crossfire - nice board, but if you have the extra cash get the Asus A8R32-MVP Deluxe Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard - Available This Week Only for just £104.95 +VAT.
The reason i say that is if you want to upgrade to dual cards later this mobo uses the new RD580 (Xpress 3200) chipset. Now it looks like the RD580 mobo's will support dual cards (without the need for a mastercard) with the next catalyst drivers.

Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3 - is a great card, & if you get the above RD580 mobo you wont have to worry about getting a 512MB mastercard. You can get a 256MB card like this one & go dual cards (once next catalyst drivers are released this will likely be supported)

thanks mate....

will i be able to overclock with the setup i have posted even with stock heatsink and fan....

i have never overclocked so will just want a little bit extra so that its is 110% stable in games etc....

also is the motherboard i have chosen better than this one....

Asus A8N-E nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard £59.95

i dont really need crossfire although for the sake of a few quid will go for the msi model if needs be....

cheers :D

Ok, cool stick with the MSI RD480 Neo2 Crossfire then. Has pretty much same features but better onboard sound.

You should be able to overclock even with stock cooler. People buy seperate coolers just to overclock to the extreme. But the stock coolers are pretty good nonetheless.
