What does everyone think? I'm looking to buy to last a couple of years.
Wasn't sure which motherboard to choose so that may need changing aswell.
I was going to go with the fatality Zalman but it won't let me add it at the mo.

Thanks

Jamie

I would get rid of the raptor and just get 2 drives, I think you only notice a little difference with raptors when compared to other drives.

With getting rid of the raptor, I would switch to a 1900 or 7900 gtx, you will notice a huge difference then.

Also, the motherboard, I doubt you will go crossfire or sli with that psu, so why not downgrade to a single slot mboard?

Nice spec anyway man, good luck with the build.

Thanks for your advice :)

Ive heard that raptors can speed up the loading of games and booting up windows so i thought it may be a good future proof drive.
Is it worth investing in a 1900 at the mo? Or should i stick with a cheaper one and then buy the next generation card?

Thanks

Jamie

Personally i would consider getting the X2 4400+ (faster & extra L2 cache) with the X1800XT, before i got a X1900XT & X2 3800+. Due to CPU bottlenecking.

DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-013-DF)

DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-014-DF)

IMO I'd go for either of those mobo due to recent issues with the Asus A8R-MVP Crossfire (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-129-AS)......
