Right,
Just trying to spec up a new box on a semi budget for my folks in law. Haven't toyed with the the new Conroe chips and boards myself yet. They are fairly heavy gamers (plays games like Oblivion and so on) and they want to new box to last a while, while obviously still not costing an arm and a leg (don't we all.) Anyway I've thus reasoned that Core 2 is a must, as is a reasonable powerful gfx card. I've leaned toward the ATI card due to it's ability to handle HDR and AA simultaneously (so I gather ) and at slightly higher levels of detail than comparable Nvidia cards (judging by the quick research I've done.) However if you can make a compelling case for another card I'm quite open to being convinced
So can you guys please look over the spec and make suggestions/improvements/corrections if appropriate.
