Everything is compatible and should be no problems to boot/install Windows straight away without any additional drivers(until you start updating of course). I would however suggest going for a DVDRW drive, it will cost you an extra £10 or so but gives you a whole lot more options.

Sorry, no idea about the framerates.

100 FPS i would imagine Use to get about 65 with a 9800XT (Back in the days when i played it)

I have a 7900GS 575/1450 (uprated cooler allowed me oc that much more) and i play bf2142 maxed out no problem
