just worried about the 8800 fitting in the case and also whether its worth the extra £30 getting the aero flower over a cooler freezer 7. also, is it worth getting a 8800gtx, will there be a huge difference. apart from that, what do you think of the spec, anything you would change.

thanks

What resolutions are you playing at? That will determine if there is any point in considering the 8800GTX, the 8800GTS is still very fast and more than capable for most people. I don't know if the graphics card fits within the case but I'd guess it probably does as it is a big case.

I'd still get the Tuniq Tower instead of the Zalman, it is cheaper and at least as good.

I'd probably change the CPU for an OEM version to save a bit of cash since you don't need a heatsink and fan due to buying one separately. However you do end up with 1 years warranty rather than 3 years.

I'd change the PSU to a Corsair 620w as I think they are just about the best on the market that are easily available and it is cheaper than the Tagan as well as being modular.

for me, the extra £6 for retail for the c2d is well worth it just for the warranty. really not sure about the cpu cooler though, different ppl say different things.well im going to be running most things through a 32inch hd lcd so wouldnt be able to get higher res than 1366x768, so do you think it would be pointless going for the gtx.

I wouldn't bother with an 8800GTX for those sort of resolutions, if you were talking 1600x1200 or above with details on max then yes it probably would be worth it but the 8800GTS has more than enough power for what you need.
