Pile of cash to spend, short time to make decision... BLURGH!!!
Need to get this ordered before close of play on Friday (i.e. in this tax year...) This is to replace the ageing system in my sig.
* I'll be keeping my Dell 24" screen. And probably maintaining the SCSI setup and lots of hard disks. So I need a PSU with a bit of "spare" overhead.
* Vista 64 will go on here (already have it) and probably play a few games - but work is main task TBH.
* Play a lot of music from the PC while working\playing.

* I assume is it worth upgrading the onboard sound for something better?
* May overclock a bit, but mainly after a solid reliable (quiet-ish) system (even if I am mad enough to then add Vista!!)
* Motherboard choices are loosing me in confusion... have based my choices on other forum threads.
* Ditto the exact CPU to get. Picked this one on "bargain cost"... but is it worth spending a bit more to nip up the range?
* I will also be adding a decent sized case to this little lot... that is even more confusing a decision!!! Though will probably plump for Lian-Li lusciousness
* Ah - and then there is the option of those OCUK bundles... I have a lot of reading to do this evening to get back up to speed
Any thoughts - or obvious comments of "that RAM don't go with that setup" - please let me know.
Thanks in Advance
