Spec Check please..

Hi Guys,

I am speccing a budget gaming rig for a friend of mine, he would like to be able to play Crysis well on a 22" Monitor and run Vista. He has a budget of £500 but that could maybe be stretched slightly if a major improvement could be achieved.

Roughly the same spec but far better graphic,s card, l play Crysis using ATI 4850 on high setting,s no problems with 22" Monitor res 1680x1050.

I play with an 8800GT and i have everything on very high and also at a 1680x1050 res. and i seem to run smoothly, but then i have better ram, cpu etc

The 4850 will be a huge improvement on the 8800GT. Also, swap the HDD for a 640gb - they have higher density platters and are therefore faster. Otherwise looks good
