The PC is basically for Internet access and storing some photos.
The Mother-in-law won 10k at the bingo a few weeks ago and the father-in-law is getting a new computer out of it :D:D

I want a machine that will be lightening quick to boot and run Internet Explorer and Office. I have told him about £500 should get him a great machine. However I do not want to spend money just for the sake of it.

I am happy to build a machine, I have done it before, but just as happy to buy a pre built if it is only a few quid difference.
