So here it finally is after weeks of choosing components and missing out on offers

I already have a BFG GTX 280 OC
And i will be buying a second optical drive in a few weeks.
I will get a new cooler for the Q6600 when i decide to OC it (to around 3.5GHz)
Oh and are there any cheaper cases that anyone would recommend? as my initial budget for the whole system was £800 =/

So what do y'all think?
Would you swap anything? if so feel free to say.

Thanks in advance :D

Will you be gaming at all, only thoughts would be change the Q6600 to E8XXX range.
Case is down to your personal choice, have you looked at any of the Lian Li cases, I'm running a A17 & PC7.
Part from the two personal opinions above rest looks fine.

I disagree, i think that Q6600 go is a brilliant choice. Overclock well to. Personally i would save some money by going for an antec 300 (as you saw in my video on the other thread) which easily fits the Gtx 280, has an easier cable management system than my old antec 1200 because of its little cable holding compartement! Then use the extra money for a Q9550 !

EDIT: Just saw you are short on cash. In that case the Q6600 is a good choice. Out of the three ive owned i couldnt be more happy with them! They will start losing value though and are near the end of its life. So if your the kind of buy it and sell it on kind of person then the Q9550 would be a better choice.

EDIT 2: Also get yourself a decent cooler so you can do some good overclocking. Believe me, it really does make a hell of a difference with a 6600.

Thanks for the replies.

Im going to stick with the Q6600, that was on of the first decisions i made for this build.

The reason i thoughta bout going with the biostar ais because of how highly custom pc recommend it and OcUK recommend it for a lot of their higher end builds.

I had a look at the antec 300 but it just doesnt look every roomy =/

I am going to get replacement cooler in a few weeks when i have more money (im going to new york in 3 weeks which is causing my money problems!)
i will get the Thermalright TRUE Black 120.

I think personally you are making the wrong decision by not going with the antec 300. I have a GTX 280 and the biggest heatsink known to man and there is plenty of room. Cable management isnt a problem because there is a compartement behind the hard drive bays for them. There really is plenty of space.
