Ok the budget was £550 to play flight sim x smooth as possible so this is what ive got:

Patriot G Series 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel
Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-S2 AMD 760G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard
Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502HJ)
Corsair CX 400W ATX Power Supply (CMPSU-400CXUK)
Xigmatek Asgard Mid-Tower Case - Black
OcUK Value 300Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev 2 CPU Cooler (Socket 939 / AM2 / AM3 / 775 / 1156 / 1366)
Samsung SH-S223C/BEBE 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM

For £545. is that going to work ok?

You can use the cooler that comes with the Phenom II if you aren't overclocking and if you are overclocking the Freezer 7 is a bit inadequate and you should get a Hyper 212 Plus or Titan Fenrir. I strongly suggest you get at least a 4870 (~£90), 5770 (slightly slower than the 4870 and costs more but has DX 11) or 4890 which is considerably faster than the aforementioned cards.

The spec in my sig plays FSX fairly smootly at max settings bit of lag through storms etc, so you may need to tone the settings down. You could try and go for the 5770 instead of the 5750? Hope that helps.
