Guys

Intel Core i5-2500 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Retail
BenQ G2222HDL 21.5" Widescreen LED Monitor x 2
Corsair Vengeance 1500 Dolby 7.1 Professional Gaming Headset
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68
Corsair XMS3 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Antec TruePower Trio 650W Power Supply (Previous Setup)

Ok guys, need a GFX card and cooler. Will the 6850 be a good card to run these 2 monitors? Or should i spend the extra few quid and go 6950?

Or in MM they have 5970 for around £200 and the 5870 for £100.

Any help guys please. Playing flight sims, MW3 etc

Cheers

Any ideas mate after your last, most welcome, contribution?

Cheers

With a "K" you get an unlocked multiplier allowing easy overclocking by way of altering the cpu ratio (33X 100Mhz stock) set it to 40X and you have 4GHz.

You also get HD3000 IGP instead of HD2000 (both still utter rubbish though:D)

Bang Tidy!

What cooler to compliment the overclock? Nothing to large please!

GFX - Have you any thoughts?

I disagree. They are better than my 570's (reliability wise anyway :p)

As said in the other thread, nv is better for FSX.

for £120 you'd be looking at GTX 460 level.

I would push to get one of those 2gb GTX 560Ti's gibbo's got cheap.

Also, if you don't mind waiting, i'm sure you could get a 2500k bundle fairly cheap on the MM with SBE being released. There are always idiots who want to make pointless upgrades!

EDIT: coolerwise, the H50's are okay
