Finally time to think about replacing my E8400 system.
Used mostly for Lightroom and Photoshop, small bit of video editing and the occasional game.
Lightroom in particular seems to struggle a bit CPU wise on the E8400 system.

Will this all work together and have some overclocking ability:

OCZ Vertex 4 256GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s Solid State Hard Drive (VTX4-25SAT3-256G) - With FREE BattleField 3 PC (Retail) £179.99
£179.99

Intel Core i5-3450 3.10GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - Retail £154.99

Gigabyte Z77-DS3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £75.98

Adata XPG Gaming v1.0 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (AX3U1600GC4G9-2G) £47.99

I already have from old system:

Antec 300 case
LG Blu Ray drive
Arctic Cooler - will this fit i5?
Nvidia GTX260 - adequate for my needs currently.
2x Samsung 1Tb drives - not sure of model.

You are aware that you cant overclock that CPU as much as a "K" CPU with its unlocked multiplier?

Also that Gigabyte board is lacking Lucid Virtu, the D3H@£79.99 does.

Arctic Cooler - will this fit i5?

Does it have socket 1566 support? which is the same as 1155.

Thanks.
Bit rusty on the new stuff!
There is an 'S' version of this CPU otherwise looks like I have to go to the higher spec 3570K.

Also, what is Lucid Virtu?!

Lucid virtu is a program that can switch between a GFX card and onboard GFX core found in the CPPU when not gaming.

Lucid MVP as found on the Z77 chipset (except for the DS3H and possibly some other I don't know about) also has Hyperformance and Virtual Vsync.

This video explains it better,

Thanks, I'll have a watch and see what it does!
I just picked the board out of the list based on price to benhonest.

My board has virtu, i have no idea if it is enabled or not, and frankly i dont care, and if it isnt enabled, i'm not missing it :D how would i know?
