hello, i will be ordering thse wc parts tomorrow, i will be having my cpu cooled only in an air 540 case, do you guys think this is ok ? i already have an alphacool xt45 240mm with sp120 fans.

i would be shocked if you need 2 litres for that sized loop other than that i don't think you have missed anything off

I would question whether you really need to get bitspower fittings. EK compressions are great I think. And echo the above - doubt you need 2 litres

I still question your decision to use Bitpower fittings.

Personally, I'd save on them buy using XSPC rotaries and fittings and get a more powerful pump/res combo

If you're going to expand your loop in the future, that EK DCP 2.2 is going to struggle and you'll just spend money on getting a pump/res combo that you could do now.

i wont be expanding my loop as i have a 7970 matrix platinum and, the bitspower is only £1 more per fitting than EK fittings so why not as ive heard theyre great and many people use them

Depends entirely on the person, The OP could be like me, I have been water cooling since 2003 and never one for finesse, as long as it works great and looks badass from outside the case I'm good. I still mount my pumps on old sponges atop an empty DVD case, I still use cable ties for most of my barbs, and ATM I have a section of my loop that is one 1/2" barb and one 3/8" barb, how are they connected? there's a 2CM section of 3/8ID-1/2OD tube on the 3/8 barb and the 1/2" ID tube is wedged over it ^^

Well it is entirely up to OP to do whatever he/she wants to do with his/her money. Given advice and its up to you to take it or not on what you've shown us.

I was talking more in terms of expansion and general fiddling rather than getting too anal about making it 'perfect'
