Hiya,

Any potential problems with the following combination please?

MSI Big Bang X X79
4820K
Corsair Vengeance Pro Red 2400Mhz Quad DDR3 (comes in 32GB pack but only plan to use 16GB and sell the other half)
EVGA 780Ti ACX x2 in SLi
Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 CPU cooler
AX 860i PSU

All to go into a Carbide Air 540 case

Only thing I am unsure on is the RAM and also if the PSU is OK for the setup?

Meant X79 - Typo and edited.
Will be a high end gaming machine.
I already have the PSU in the current machine.
 
I don't have a top budget - What I am mostly interested in is getting the best out of the 780Ti SLi Combination - Will I not be able to push better results out of a X79 board?
 
I already have one Ti so changing cards is not an option.

How about:

4790K
MSI Z97 XPower
2x 780Ti in SLi
2400mhz 16GB DDR3 Dual Channel of some type- Question here - is 4x4GB a better option than 2x8GB?
