Last minute decision I've decided I would like a new PC. My current one getting quite long in the tooth and myself increasingly impatient with how slow it now is.
I'd like to spend as little as possible but without scrimping on components and would spend a extra few £ if something was worth it.
I'd like speed and quietness mostly. I don't game, but wouldn't like to rule out the possibility of it in the future so form factor has been chosen in mind. Plus I already have a case I would like to use.
Last time I built a PC was 2007
and my current one is a off the shelf big brand so to say I'm a little out of practice of what parts to get is a little understatement, but I'm fully confident still to put it all together.
I don't really have a budget in mind but the best bang for buck (pound) really, but kept around the price I've spec'd currently would be good.
After a full afternoon/evening looking round the site mostly in a bemused/confused state could this to be checked out and any opinions be given/or if I have made a big mistake or better option given.
I'll be keeping it in its current state for several years so I want to build and leave well alone.
