I spotted a spec in a previous post but a couple of items are out of stock. So I've adjusted slightly. I now have this.

Budget £900, I need every thing excluding OS.

Don't want to spend more then £900, you guys love going over budget, unless for a very good reason. The 290 is indeed a good reason.

Taking off the RAM -£60, changing the case to a Bitfenix Neos -£10 and dropping the HDD to 1TB -£16 (just came back in stock) not to mention the cooler you both specced at -£10. So its looking good.

I now have a 290. The SSD is fine at 120GB, my OS and favourite steam games will sit on the SSD all others will be on the data drive. I have a NAS for music films etc so storage isn't an issue. Also the cheaper monitor is 5 ms response, I'm sure it won't make a massive difference, its just not an area I can see a compromise for £20 just to get close to budget compared to getting the 290.

So still under £900, just. Although at this tare the SSD will be back up to full price so add £10.

I'd be looking at getting an extra fan or two for the Neos or spending more for the Agos, as the 1 fan in the Neos probably won't cut it for keeping a beast like the 290 particularly cool under load

dam the case isn't on the last spec i posted, how I miss that. Gone back to the Agos. Still over £900, so be it. £5 more than my initial spec, just over the golden £900. Thanks for the help.
