Please could I beg a spec check ? The below will be going in to a CM 690 II advanced case, I already have GPU, PSU and drives.

Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00GHz (Devil's Canyon) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £269.00

Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H Intel Z97 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £139.99 (want a gigabyte board where there is a switch to change between bios versions, been burnt recently with failed MSI bios upgrade :( ).

Corsair Hydro H80i High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (want a good cooler that doesn't over hang RAM or GPU (bit nervous about water leaks though)).

Kingston HyperX Fury White 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-14900C10 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (RAM in stock thats on the motherboards compatability list.

Currently a Corsair 650w PSU, my main PSU, a Superflower 1000w gold (currently waiting for replacement due to failure).

GPU is a MSI Lightning 670 which will be upgraded to a MSI 970 at the end of Jan.

Main use is gaming, lots of gaming. Arma3, Elite Dangerous, Dark Souls 2 etc.

Ideally I'd like to get a board with an actual physical switch to move between bios chips. My last system failed due to a BIOS upgrade, the MSI board had a dual bios which should but didn't recover my system.

The Nepton would fit, the radiator would be inside the case whilst the fans would be on top of the case but inside the plastic top cover. Whats the Nepton build quality like ? I'm nervous about water but want low noise and no RAM or PCI slots blocked by an air cooler, so I'm not sure I have any other choice. Corsair also have a very good reputation for putting things right in the event of a manufacturing flaw causing leak damage.

One other question, will 1600 memory allow modest overclocks on this ? If so any recommendations on a good 8gb kit please ?

You can overclock the cpu speed independently from the RAM speed.

The coolermaster looks nice, I have seen the reviews, it is up there with the H100i etc, good brand and I would trust it.
