Hi Could you kind gents cast your beady eyes over the following & see if it's all ok? Just going to a used for gaming, thats about it really.

Could someone advise if the removing the stock cooler from the GFX card will void the warranty, or I'll be requesting OcUK build the rig would it matter as the system will come with a warranty.

Also is the radiator adequate for the loop?

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,954.33
(includes shipping: £0.00)

Thanks

Very nice, one thing I'd say straight away is if you're spending this amount of money get rid of the Pro Gaming motherboard and get a Asus VIII Maximus Hero motherboard or something alike. The Pro Gaming motherboard is shocking and I've had issues with this particular board, don't scrimp out on such a crucial part of your machine.

I'd change the memory from 3000MHz to 2400MHz as memory frequency doesn't effect gaming performance, you'll be paying extra for literally 1FPS roughly. Plus machines run more stable with 2400MHz memory.

You will get a warranty with Overclockers and of any issues occur the warranty will cover and they'll sort it out for you. If I've had any issues with a system or parts they've always replaced and kept me happy. You can always discuss your build with someone at overclockers, they can do totally custom builds to your liking upon requesting, I think this is something you should do if you think you require anymore advice on your system.

Cheers.

That will be a very nice build.

The system will most likely be more stable with 2400MHz RAM. As far as warranty is concerned, it's worth checking which manufacturers allow you to remove the stock cooler from the graphics card.

In my experience, the Z170 Pro Gaming is a decent board. If you're aiming for extreme OCs though, then the Maximus Hero is a better choice. Otherwise, the Pro Gaming is a solid choice.

Yes agreed, will be nice build.

Yeah I would definitely change the current 3000MHz RAM to the 2400MHz like I mentioned above. The system will be more stable and you're saving yourself some money!

Yes, I agree with Borealis about checking with the manufacturers about removing the stock cooler, better to be safe than sorry. You could always get something like the GeForce GTX 1080 SEA HAWK EK which EK's high performance GTX 1080 waterblock as standard but the cost is greater.

A lot of people do say they've had good experiences with the Pro Gaming motherboard, and it would probably still be a solid choice. However, I always feel if you have these high quality, expensive components in a system you should spend a little more money to get a better motherboard.
