Hi

The ram, cpu and board are all compatible. You might need a bios update to support the i7 6800K depending on the version.

What is this being used for ? Is this replacing the pc in your sig ?

Hi Is going to be using it for cad electronics etc he may also get back into a bit off gaming though I don't know .

Its for my friend, he has asked me to spec up for him, His PCs is so old. and needs fast nice speed storage ie nothing slow in his pc.

can the bios be upgraded via usb socket on the motherboard ?

Not sure about the BIOS update, but why not get a 5820K instead? It's only slightly slower and will work straight out of the box, no BIOS updates required. It's also around £40 cheaper.

You can get that particular motherboard as part of a bundle with the i7 5820K. It will work straight out of the box with a Haswell-E chip.
