Its upgrade time, after doing the whole custom loop, SLI, huge case and even a custom desk I really fancy a powerful, single card solution.
Ive never used ITX before so I think I will go down this route for a change.

My Current Specs are;

8gb 1600 Corsair Vengence
Z87 MSI Mpower
i5 4670k @ stock
Antec 750w PSU
AMD R290x

I mainly use my PC to game at 1440 and stream media.

Here is what I have put together and I think its fairly solid but its a whole chunk of cash so I would like other opinions.

I have not included optical drive as I dont use one and I already have an SSD and HDD

Keep what you have and just change the GPU and maybe another 8gb RAM. If you really, really want to go ITX then get a new 1150 motherboard and case. Can't see the sense in spending all that cash on a new motherboard/cpu/ram for very minimal improvements.
 
Hey, thanks for the reply,

I took on board what you suggested about getting a 1150 ITX board and using all my other stuff but I cant seem to find one on OCUKs website and the other retailer I use only stocks 2 rubbish ones.

Considering nobody has commented, bashing my spec im just going to go ahead and order it up, this should see me right for a while.

Stulid, if I am going to be completely honest I have absolutely no idea about DDR4 RAM speeds and thought I was playing it safe.

Will faster ram just work out of the box or is it a simple case of selecting it in the bios like DDR3?
