Usage: gaming, browsing, watching films etc. Chose the i7 over the i5 'cause there's only £55 between them. Don't really know about cases but the one I added doesn't seem too garish, and seems big enough to fit everything.
Max budget around 1600 - 1700. Will buy cooler and more storage at a later date.

Criticism and advice welcome.
Much appreciated!

Lovely build! If you buy 2x of everything i'll let you give the 2nd set to me ;)

Only thing I would change is the case, but case is always preference anyway!

I'd put it in the Corsair Graphite 600TM - Pricey though! but will fit in your budget (I own the white version of this, so i'm slightly bias!)

Why 850watt PSU? seems tad ovekrill unless you plan to crossfire later date?

if not i would change PSU to a nice gold rated 600-700 watt psu

also that I7 is on weekly sale so will change sometime today.

Thanks for the responses.
Not willing to spend 140 on a case. Just need something roomy enough to house everything and keep it cool. Yes, I plan to xfire after a couple of months so that's why I chose a 850w.
One thing I forgot to ask is would there be any issue with 3d on the benq using an amd card? Also, which card is better, the windforce or the iceq both on offer at 320. Thanks again

Case wise, the corsair 300r is good for the money, no window though. Personal choice.

Id personal pick the windforce, read great things about the cooler.

i did say earlier the I7 would go off sale :D

if overclocking aint your thing, and you just want an I7 the locked 3770 is £239 (still bosts itself to 3.9ghz)

Although for gamign I5 is more thank sufficient

Thank you!
Taking your advice into account I changed the mobo to tamzy's recommendation and Stulid's case (really didn't wanna spend so much on a case but 'cause stulid knows his shizz I plopped for it):

Not everything from ocuk (sowee)
monitor actually 2411t.
Also a mousemat not available at OCuk :D
Will be re-using m&k for now.
All that's left is a cooler to complete it for now. Wanna get case first to see how much room I have to play with.
One thing that does worry me is that GPU looks really fat - will it be a prob if i crossfire 2?
Will I get DVI-D cables with the GPU/monitor or do i need to buy seperate? Been 4 years since last purchase can't even remember; think I got them with the GPU.

Thanks as always. Looking forward to it now :)

Already ordered. It's okay. Can sell it and get 1 or 2 new gpus in a few months. Next gen just around the corner. Why is it so obese? If it's meant for overclocking why's it at stock speeed? Perhaps should have researched it a little. Got bored of waiting :D still excited about the ssd and even the case now.
