Hey guys, it's been a while. I'm toying with the idea of a mini-itx gaming build; I don't have experience with mini-itx so thought someone on here might spot problems with my plans.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £1,937.52
(includes shipping: £12.60)

RAM is missing (not on OC, but I'm essentially thinking of Corsair Dominator Platinum Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Memory Kit). There's also a few noctua fans missing as I want this to be quiet...still waiting on more details on the EVGA Hybrid 1080 but I'm fairly certain I'll opt for a factory sealed water cooled solution.

SSD's will be in RAID0, because performance > redundancy for my main drives (everything will be backed up, and important data is on more reliable media (I.E, the cloud)).

Budget is around £2k can be stretched further if it's worth it.

Thanks!
John

For an ITX case the Manta is huge - it's 426mm tall and wider than a lot of standard ATX cases. If you're going to go for an ITX build and all the limitations it brings, it makes sense to get a small case.

^Dont listen to him. So what if the Manta is a ridiculously huge ITX case. It looks awesome.

I don't see a CPU cooler there. K sku skylake does not include any kind of HSF in the box whatsoever.

This looks like a nice powerful toy to play with I say build it.

Got any recommendations? There are a few I like the look of such as the Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 and Corsair Obsidian 250D.

It does look awesome I agree but I see his point :)

You're right, I did forget to add the CPU cooler I was looking at to my basket; I was looking at Corsair Hydro Series H115i.
