If you can afford it I'd get 2gb Ram, places where you could save money if you are at the limits of your budget would be - get the Leadtek 7800gt (standard), you save £35 there alone, drop the additional XP120 and fan, use the retail one as it is still decent and you can then get 2gb Ram. Alternatively you could choose not to get such a pricey motherboard, however the silent heatpipes are a nice feature. :)

The noise factor was an element in both the mobo and the heatsink. I may well add another GB ram and as it's the easiest bit to add i though i'd see how things go with the specs here.

This graphics card would be even better with that system ...
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1800 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-044-CO) £234.94*Including VAT

Quicker than the 7800GTX & at a very good price.

Thanks for the advise guys, ACES i'd already ordered when you suggested the X1800 XT but i'm sure the 7800 won't dissapoint.

I placed the order at about 15:30 yeasterday and it's here on the IOW by 11:00, great service there guys, thanks.

One thing though, the SI-120 is HUGE!! I shouldn't be surprised as it needs a 12cm fan but it was still a shock actually looking at it out of the box.
