Hi looking at a new mobo and cpu and just wanting to see if these two are compatible together:

DFI Lanparty 875P-T SKT775
Pentium D 805 Dual Core 2.66ghz

Whats your budget? You can get an AMD System for cheap which will kill that spec.

£150 - £200, must be agp as i really cant afford to go pci-e.

Upto you really, AMD is best bang-for-buck but as you're on a tight leash with that spec. Id say just go for what you can afford.

All im after is a mobo and processor, its generally for surfing/msn/homework etc, but also a bit of light gaming, would you be able to tell me if the mobo/cpu i originally stated are compatible, if not could you recommend me a cpu for use with that board.

Im pretty sure they are yes. They're both S775.
